It is currently used for bonding plastic products to each other, plastic products to metal parts and other non-plastic materials. Ultrasonic welding is the transmission of ultrasonic energy to the welding area through the upper welding parts, due to the welding area, that is, the intersection of the two welding acoustic resistance, and therefore will produce local high temperature.
